Last week, I was doing a little late night painting. The day had been a scorcher, and now that it was night, the air was cool, and smelled fabulously like June-summer-night. (I would love to wear that as a perfume scent.) I had my favorite albums on the record player, and a tasty, crispy-cold glass of Chardonnay. I put my wine glass on my work table next to my brush water, while I sat at the easel, singing along, painting, and basically getting lost in the whole mark and respond process. You know, basically disappearing into the painting? I decided to use some water-soluble crayon in a few areas, and applied those colors. Then, I dipped my brush to wet it so I could blend those areas. Guess what I dipped my brush into?
Oh LK, I have done the same thing!!! but my drink was just a little different :) funny how when you're in the thick of creating you lose your sense of direction! xxoo, Dawn
