Two things I want you to know:
- Our photographs are absolutely rich in meaning and rife with symbolism.
- We are in every photo we make.
Depsite the saying, I have come to realize that every photo is not really a self-portrait. However, every photo is a glimpse into ourselves. When we take a photo, make a photo, we are choosing one moment, one scene, one view to stop and hold outside of time. What really is in that photograph? Who is really in that photograph?
This is a class designed to stretch you- expand your ways of thinking about your own photographs, to sharpen your authentic voice, to access deeper creativity. You'll be pushed with insistent tenderness to explore under the surface of the content in your photographs. By doing this, you'll increase your visual vocabulary, and gain greater awareness of your artistic vision.
