A camera only makes images when you use it. It doesn't make images when it is sitting in a drawer, on a table, in a bag. A camera doesn't take photographs when it is at home and you are out. A camera that is with you is the most useful, best, most exciting creative tool you can have. For me, the camera that is perpetually in my pocket is my iPhone.
With my iPhone, not only do I have my camera in hand, I have the software to edit, alter, enhance, and upload images in the palm of my hand - using a computer measuring just 2.25 x 4.25 x 0.25 inches- a computer that also happens to be my phone, iPod, video camera, internet browser, calendar, alarm clock, radio, phone book, bookstore, audio recorder...
You probably already know, I'm sure, that I love my iPhone. Specifically, I love my iPhone camera and the many photography apps that are available. I have had a number of requests for a class around using the iPhone camera; I'm tickled to say- let's do it!

You will need to have a working, connected iPhone. Some apps will only work iOS4 or phones that are 3G or newer. I am shooting on a 3Gs. Your computer & internet access should be of sufficient speed that you are able to watch videos online, and you should be able to use iTunes to acquire apps that you may need or want. The apps typically range in price from free to $2.99. (Be aware that jailbroken iPhones may not be able to access iTunes to purchase the apps.)
There are already over sixty posts ready for you for this class. Beginning 9/31, new posts will once again begin to appear. I'm not sure how many will go up, or how often, but I have some new topics to talk about.
Access to the class will remain open to you !!! (indefinitely. as in a really long time....) This open access allows you to work at your own pace, and should relieve any worries you may have about "keeping up" or "getting done." Should I decide to ever pull the class access, you will be given 90 days notice.
You may sign up for this class at any time- there is no set start or end date.
Correspondence: I love to answer your questions- please email me if you need more info. If you email me after 2 pm on Friday, I may not be able to respond until Sunday evening.
Class cost is $45.
