"A picture is worth a thousand words.", as the over-used saying goes.
Through out this six week class, students will concentrate on creating journal pages, from photographs and words, that tell stories. Fiction or non-fiction, the art of creating a story with images and text is amazingly satisfying. Requiring creativity, enthusiasm, bravery, and probably a sense of humor, we will combine photography and writing to fill journal pages with tales. Mystery, comedy, drama, fantasy, documentary, true-life adventure, inspirational, and biography can exist, not just at the library or book store, but in your visual journal!

I try to make use of art supplies that most people already own or can be purchased easily. (and inexpensively) You will want a journal with sufficiently sturdy paper to allow you to work on the page. (I like 90lb or higher.)
